Background
They say that you should never work with animals (horses) and children – Hannah decided to both and in more recent years cared for the elderly in and around Glossop.
Hannah loved her work and delevoped a firm understanding of the requirements and needs of the elderly, but her own individual need for her own business grew stronger as the working day seemed to get longer.

How it began

It was by chance that during a stroll through Glossop Indoor Market on a cold Saturday afternoon in January that we both (Darren – the husband) noted that the Pure Supplements store was for sale. We both had a good understanding of basic vitamins/minerals/supplement and health foods (with me being a vegetarian since the age of 10) so we could see good potential and as they say, the rest is history.

Buying the business

Hannah took over the popular Pure Supplements stall in Glossop Market during February 2018. We had plenty to do in terms of changing some of the systems to how we wanted to run the business in a modern way but not losing the older approach to customer service that is expected and had been built up over the years in Glossop.

All of our stock is now part of an Epos system which means we can always have full stock control and a smooth checkout till system. We introduced credit/debit card payments and also a complete ecommerce shop which enables customers to purchase online and collect in-store or for home delivery.

We introduced a Facebook & Twitter page to spread the word on new products and educate on the old. This has been a valuable assest in increasing awareness of our store.

Popular brand names include Lifeplan, Natures Aid, Solgar, A Vogel, MooGoo and many more. We also source many products for our customers by request, so we always try to go the extra mile to gain and maintain a growing customer base.

We offer natural and organic health products instore in the popular indoor market in Glossop which is open each Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9am until 5pm and of course online 24/7.
