What is Passiflora Complex?
The herb Passiflora incarnata is also known simply as Passiflora. Common names include Passion flower or Maypop.
It is a hardy perennial found originally in the wild in the Southern United States. Passiflora herb has a history of use in foods having been used for jam as well as in infusions of tea.
Avena sativa, better known as the oat plant, can also be used as both a food and a herb.
It is the green leafy parts of the oat plant which are used to make our Avena sativa tincture, rather than oat grain which is commonly used as food.
